Set in London, this epic postwar musical by Bertolt Brecht features the famous song, "Mack the Knife" and tells the tale of how Mack is arrested on the insistence of his father-in-law and is sentenced to death only to be pardoned by the Queen! This political satire, with music by Kurt Weill, will feature a live orchestra and GVSU students bound for Broadway and beyond.
